Royal Danish Embassy in IRAN has various tasks in communication between IRAN and Denmark. The embassy was established in 1933 in Iran. And in 1958, Iran opened its embassy in Copenhagen. Royal Danish Embassy in IRAN during these years facilitates cooperation and dialogue between Danish and Iranian institutions in fields as diverse as economic and commercial, human rights and anti-corruption, culture and sports. The lifting of sanctions against Iran was a very big event, for cooperation between Iran and Denmark and facilitates the work of the Danish embassy in Iran. Now, the cooperation between Iran and Denmark, both in cultural and sports fields and also in trade cooperation is easier than before. Between January 4th and 5th, the Minister for Foreign Affairs visited Tehran with a large business delegations on a total of 58 Danish companies. The Danish commercial-delegation visit happens at a time when both the political and commercial focus on Iran, never has been greater.
