He made the remarks in a meeting with Hormozgan Province Governor General Fereydoun Hemmati on Sunday.
All European Union member-states know that according to confirmation of International Atomic Energy Agency, Islamic Republic of Iran had fully implemented its commitments in JCPOA, Annan said.
The ambassador said statement of President Trump on decertifying Iran’s nuclear deal ‘surprised us’.
‘We promised to keep our support and commitment for Iran and continue our supports for JCPOA, which has plenty of benefits,’ Annan added.
Next month, minister of industry of Denmark accompanied by a large delegation of active companies in different fields like aquaculture and maritime will travel to Tehran, he said.
Annan said he believes there are plenty of capacities for mutual cooperation between Denmark and Hormozgan province.
He stressed that following the implementation of the JCPOA, European states’ connections with Iran have considerably increased.
Denmark’s export volume to Iran increased by 55 percent as compared with the preceding year.
Annan underlined that Denmark is interested in mutual cooperation on two sectors of fishery and shipping, and added that Danish shipping companies are interested to participate in Iran’s market.
He added that Denmark is so progressive in the field of fishery and there is much interest for mutual cooperation in this field.
The ambassador said a delegation will be soon dispatched from from Bandar Abbas to Denmark to get acquainted with mutual cooperation capacities.
Annan also pointed to the issue of tourism and said that during 2015-2017 number of Danish tourists, who paid a visit to Iran has increased and Denmark is ready for investment and cooperation in this sector as well.
Danny Annan said that Iranian hospitality attracted more foreign tourists than natural and historical attractions.
